I looked back to the Captain and then continued on foot down the dirt road near the tree line. Trying to decide how to best penetrate the base, a one man assault wouldn�t be the wisest choice and using the .50 meant that before I could get to a spot someone might discover the simulated kill and then they know you are there and are alert to you coming across. I could see the paved road now. I saw a car speed by, they didn�t see me. Then the idea hit me I was still far enough out from the base that I could be heading in for the alert but close enough that any person driving would think I was walking in. I got to the edge of the road laid the .50 in the ditch, pulled out a smoke, lit it and stood there. Soon a car came rolling up the road. I stuck out my thumb. The car was slowing, the plates were military. The plan as it were, was coming together slowly. The car pulled up beside me the driver leaned across the passenger seat and opened the door. I grabbed the door leaned in and said, �oh man could you give me a ride to the base, I�m so late for this exercise I�m going to be so screwed if I don�t get there soon.�

The guy in the car was an Airman First Class and the name tag read; Williams. The tech insignia above the name told me he was air crew. Williams said, �Sure Man hop in�

I said, �Oh man thank you, Let me grab on thing.�

�Sure� he said and looked behind him and back down the road from the direction he came. I pulled out one of the 9mm�s and shot him in the side. The glass bullet hit him in the chest and exploded. The paint stain was red and looked like a shot right in the heart. Williams said, �What the fuck� I said, �You�re dead.� Pulled out the OP-4 Card and he hung his head down. Then he looked up, �Now what?� I said you�re dead so get out of your car and walk back down this road until you get to a Captain Williams he�ll radio command who let them know you are KIA. He got out of the car I reached down at my feet and grabbed the .50 put in the car. And walked around to the drivers side Williams said, �don�t fuck up my car.� �Not a problem� I watched as he started walking down the road toward the Captain. I depressed the mic. �X-ray one to Eagle one�

�Go ahead X-ray one�
�one KIA in route to command I spell Whiskey, Indigo, Sierra, Romeo, Romeo, Indigo, Alpha, Mike, Sierra. Copy?�

I looked down the road put the car in gear and drove toward the base gate. The car was a manual transmission this would work to my advantage. Their was a car in front of me pulling into the base. I slowed down and continued one guard the car that was there when I pulled out was gone. There had to be two guards where was the other one. Inside most likely. Keep driving near the guard now pop the clutch and let the car stall. Don�t push the clutch in and turn the key the car whined and sputtered a bit but didn�t start. One more time sputter. Now he is curious so is the other one inside the gate. Two guards, one me I have to be fast. The guard is walking up. I got out of my car quickly and slammed the door. �OH MAN WHAT A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT� I walked around to the back of the car. Then said, �hey buddy,� To the guard �will you get in and steer this and I�ll push this piece of shit out of the way.�

�Yeah� I thought damn that was easy. The other guard came walking to the back of the car. The first guard got in the car and grabbed the wheel pushed the clutch in I started pushing the second guard started helping. Oh this is too easy. The guard driving steered the car around the gate house and I stopped pulled the 9 out and shot the guard pushing in the back. Walked up to the side of the car and put two round in the chest of the guard driving the car. Done in less than 60 seconds. The two guards were standing there. I pulled the OP-4 Card and said �In the gate house now. And hand me your radios please. � the handed me the radios fuck I didn�t know the call sign for the post. We were in the gate house. Now I saw the post name on the clipboard. Kentucky Two. �Have a seat boys you�re done for now.� They sat down, and I keyed up the mic, �X-ray one to Eagle one�

�Go ahead x-ray one�

�I have achieved objective one at call sign Kentucky Two. I am in control of this entry point.�

�Affirmative X-ray one out� Then in my ear I heard the Captains voice, �X-ray one this is Rolling Thunder�

I keyed the mic, �Eagle One this is X-ray one�

�Go ahead X-ray one�

�I have unconfirmed radio traffic on this frequency call sign Rolling Thunder�

�Affirmative X-ray one, Rolling Thunder is your OP-4 leader�

�Affirmative, X-ray one to Rolling Thunder go ahead�

�X-ray one, hold your position there I�m in route. To your location�

�Affirmative Rolling Thunder�

Then a car pulled up and stopped at the gate. I looked at one of the guards, give me your hat and your weapon. �what� �Shut up you�re dead now give me your hat and weapon� He handed them up to me I put on the hat shouldered the �M16. �Are these live?� No they are blans� replied the guard I pulled the clip saw they were blanks slammed the clip back in and I walked out of the gate house. I walked the car. The person inside handed me their ID.
